The Anglican Diocese of Kwoi has recorded a major milestone in healthcare development with the commissioning of a state-of-the-art 100-bed capacity hospital in Kaduna State, a project widely hailed as a transformative contribution to healthcare delivery and community development.
The hospital, established under the leadership of the Bishop of Kwoi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Paul Zamani, is expected to significantly improve access to quality healthcare services for residents of Kaduna State and neighboring communities.
Speaking during the commissioning and fundraising ceremony, Capt. Caleb Danladi, PhD, who served as the Chairman of the Occasion and Chief Launcher, congratulated the Diocese and Bishop Zamani for what he described as a monumental achievement driven by visionary leadership, selfless service, and a deep commitment to humanity.
According to him, the project demonstrates the vital role faith-based institutions can play in addressing pressing societal challenges, particularly in the healthcare sector where many communities continue to face difficulties accessing quality medical services.
“This monumental project is a testament to the power of visionary leadership, selfless service, and a deep commitment to the well-being of humanity,” Capt. Danladi said.
He noted that the foresight, dedication, and determination of Bishop Paul Zamani have once again proven that true leadership is measured not merely by words but by tangible and lasting impacts on people’s lives.
Capt. Danladi further emphasized that the newly commissioned hospital would provide essential medical services, create employment opportunities, improve healthcare outcomes, and serve as a beacon of hope for countless families across Kaduna State and beyond.
Reflecting on his participation in the event, he described it as a great honor and privilege to witness firsthand a project that he believes will positively impact generations to come.
“Witnessing this historic milestone reinforced my belief that visionary men and women can build institutions that outlive them and continue to serve future generations,” he stated.
The commissioning of the hospital marks another significant step in the Diocese’s commitment to community development and social welfare, underscoring the growing contribution of faith-based organizations to Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure.
Community leaders, clergy, well-wishers, and development partners who attended the event praised the initiative, expressing optimism that the facility would enhance healthcare access and improve the quality of life for residents in the region.
The 100-bed hospital is expected to commence full operations soon, bringing quality healthcare services closer to thousands of people within Kaduna State and surrounding communities
