Angela Okorie in defense of Naira Marley: he’s a nice person

Actress Angela Okorie has come out to speak in defence of singer, Naira Marley.  In a video she posted on social media this morning, the mum of one recounted her encounter with the singer. She said the encouragement he gave her when she was promoting one of her songs, has not been replicated by anyone in their “demonic industry”.

‘’One of these birthdays, about three or four years ago, Naira Marley surprised me. He gave me lots of money, I was shocked. The encouragement he gave to me, nobody has ever given it to me in this demonic industry where me and you know people just envy you for nothing, for being yourself, for being bold, for talking and working so hard. People are just going to envy you.” she said. She further stated that she later went to see him to thank him for attending her birthday. She said she suggested they collaborate on a song which he agreed to and even promoted on his own.  ‘’Naira Marley was too nice to me. He doesn’t even talk. He is not a fighter. He doesn’t even talk”

Her defence comes amidst demands by Nigerians for Naira Marley be probed over the claims of bullying his former signee, late Mohbad made against him while he was alive.
