Acting on the direct directives of the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, the Council’s environment team has commenced an intensive waste evacuation exercise across the Karu community.
The operation was spearheaded by the Supervisory Councillor on Environment, Hon Hassim Angama, alongside the Head of Environment Department, Hajia Hannatu Shaibu, and their operational team.
Angama noted that, “The swift response underlines the administration’s unwavering resolve to eliminate illegal dumpsites, restore environmental sanitation, and safeguard public health within the council”.
