In the early hours of Saturday, a group of armed individuals infiltrated the Mashafa region of Mpape in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to our sources, the gunmen forcibly kidnapped at least four individuals from the area. The entire operation lasted approximately one hour.

One resident, who preferred to be identified as Zack, informed our correspondent that the armed men had targeted specific individuals within the community.

He added that the gunmen separately broke into the houses of the victims and whisked them away.

Zack said, “They came early in the morning around 1:am with sophisticated weapons. The sound of their guns was very loud, and it lasted about an hour. If you look at the kind of people they kidnapped, it showed they had their targets, and they one-by-one forced their way into their houses to pick them up. We have an Executive Officer of a logistics company, another, a manager of a big bakery, the other one is a Manger of an Oil dump company, and the last one works with a construction company.”

When contacted, the FCT spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh promised to get back to our correspondent. However, she had yet to do so as of the time of filing this report.
