Abuja Community Attack by Suspected Bandits

    Published on

A local resident claims that roughly 30 armed people brandishing AK-47 rifles broke into the neighborhood at midnight on Monday and attacked the home of Adefija Micheal Akinropo, who was accompanied by his wife, kid, and older brother.

The local, who knows the victims, was quoted as saying that the attackers then relocated to a nearby chicken farm, where they abducted another guy and beat his wife.

He pointed out that although Byazin police officers had been on the location, the kidnappers had not yet contacted the relatives of the victims.

When contacted for comment, Superintendent Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, stated she was on her way to the office and promised to call back when she got there.

However, as far as Naija News is aware, by the time this report was filed, the police spokesman had not yet followed up.
