President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, has paid tribute to United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina J. Mohammed on her 65th birthday, calling her a “global icon” and “beacon of hope.”
In a birthday message released on Saturday, the former Lagos Deputy Governor described Mohammed as an inspirational leader who “acts boldly and leaves no one behind.”
“As you celebrate another year of grace and impact, may your light continue to shine brighter, your strength be renewed, and your legacy of hope and service inspire generations now and always,” Orelope-Adefulire said.
She praised Mohammed’s six-and-a-half decades of service to humanity.
“On this special day marking your triumphant six and a half decades of service, we celebrate a proud daughter of Africa, Nigeria. A global icon whose vision and courage continue to shape a better world,” she stated.
Orelope-Adefulire said Mohammed has become a trailblazer and a true champion of the UN SDGs, crediting her for driving the domestication of the goals across many countries.
The Presidential aide wished her “many more years on earth, in continued service to her fatherland and humanity.”
