‎Public concern has risen over the health condition of veteran Nollywood child actor, Ifeanyi Ezeokeke, popularly known for his role as ‘Ugo Shave’ in the movie Conspiracy.

‎A video surfaced online showing the actor in a vulnerable and uncommunicative state due to a prolonged and undisclosed illness.

‎According to digital content creator Emmanuel Okwuluora Okoh, who shared the footage, Ezeokeke has been bedridden and unable to work for approximately 19 years.

‎The report indicates that the family faces severe financial difficulties, which have limited the actor’s access to consistent medical care.

‎The family has also faced additional hardships, including the passing of Ezeokeke’s father and a severe road accident that left his mother with a permanent physical impairment, limiting her ability to care for him independently.

‎In the video, Okoh highlighted the family’s difficult living conditions, and urged the public and Nollywood stakeholders to intervene.

‎“I am with legendary Nollywood actor, Ifeanyi Ezeokeke, known as ‘Ugo Shave’ in Conspiracy and many other movies. He has been down for 19 years. He has not really gone to the hospital because of poverty. This environment isn’t acceptable; we want to build them a small house so they won’t suffer. His mother has iron in her leg; she was hit by a car, and his father passed away in the process,” he stated.

‎In response to the broadcast, fans and social media users have launched online appeals, tagging prominent figures within the Nigerian film industry to intervene.
