A Kebbi State Youth leader, Engineer Ahmed Rufai Khalifah, has felicitated with the governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, on his historic emergence as the unopposed gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kebbi State.

The youth leader, in a statement on Thursday, described the governor’s affirmation as historic and a pathway to the continuity of good governance in the state.

Khalifah noted that the return ticket to the governor means the continuation of effective youth policies to be implemented by the Kebbi state government, which, in turn, will further broaden youth development in the state.

“We congratulate our father, the comrade governor, for his successful affirmation as the APC candidate. His unopposed emergence is a true reflection of his leadership qualities as a unifier”.

Engr. Khalifah further reassured that the youth constituency will continue to support the administration of Governor Nasir Idris to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kebbi State. The youth leader also called on youths in the state to shun violence and any activity that will lead to unrest during the electoral and campaign cycle.
