    Notorious thug shot dead for allegedly trying to snatch ballot box in Dekina ,Kogi East

    A notorious thug has been shot dead as was allegedly trying to snatch a ballot box. hoodlums, suspected Tobe political thugs invaded some poling units in Ayingba,Dekina and and Abocho and destroyed INEC materials.

    Akaihaba was shot dead while allegedly attempting to snatch ballot boxes at Agwudoko area in Anyigba while voting exercise was in progress

    Also at Udaba-Dekina, ballot boxes were allegedly destroyed by unknown gunmen who were allegedly sponsored by a retired woman officer from the local government.

    Similar situation has been reported in Dekina town where Tudunwada polling unit has just been destroyed by another alleged sponsored group.

    It was however gathered that other areas like Egume, Ojikpadala, Abejulo – Egume, Acharu are voting smoothly.
