I’m Bello’s worst nightmare, Natasha mocks ex-Kogi gov in new video

The senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has issued a bold warning to former Governor Yahaya Bello ahead of the 2027 senatorial elections, declaring herself his “worst nightmare.”

Speaking on the Mic On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Akpoti-Uduaghan dismissed speculation about being intimidated by Bello, recalling her victory over candidates backed by him in the 2023 elections.

“Let me be clear: I am not afraid of Yahaya Bello. He may have been governor and wielded all the powers at his disposal, but I defeated him. If we meet on the ballot in 2027, it won’t be a contest—it will be a reckoning. I am his nightmare,” she said.

Akpoti-Uduaghan also addressed persistent overtures from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), affirming her loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“I have been approached many times, even by people linked to the Presidency. I value my peace and my people too much to be swayed,” she said.

On the PDP’s internal crisis, she added, “If the party hasn’t settled its issues, I’ll find a platform in a month—and my people will move with me. By the grace of God, my bond with my constituents is unbreakable.”

As Kogi’s political stage heats up ahead of 2027, Akpoti-Uduaghan’s remarks signal a confident contender ready to challenge one of the state’s most prominent political figures.
