Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nassrawa State, will on Friday perform the groundbreaking ceremony for three major industrial and agric-based projects worth 88.5 million Dollars.
The projects are expected to generate at least 11,000 jobs in the state.
This is contained in a statement by Ibrahim Abdullahi, Managing Director, Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency (NASIDA) made ahead of the ground breaking ceremony.
Abdullahi said that the projects were designed to boost industrial capacity, enhance agricultural value chains and deepen private-sector investment in the state.
According to him, the three components of the projects to be inaugurated are a high-end security prints facility to produce secured documents for domestic and African markets
“The others are a paper production plant to manufacture environmentally friendly paper products and support local industries and an organic agric-village and value-chain centre aimed at expanding agricultural cultivation and providing raw materials for processing and downstream industries”.
The NASIDA boss described the integrated projects as a significant step in strengthening innovation, agribusiness, and economic development under the governor’s leadership.
He said all three projects were being promoted by an entrepreneur, Abdullahi Girei, who is the Chairman/Managing Director of Euphoria Press Limited.
He added that the groundbreaking ceremony would reinforce the state’s commitment to private-sector–driven growth, noting that the presence of invited dignitaries would further underscore the government’s resolve to attract sustainable investments into the state.
The governor is expected to be joined at the event by top government officials, investors, and representatives of the Euphoria Group at the ceremony commencing at 9.00 a.m. at the Euphoria project site along the Akwanga–Keffi Expressway in Keffi LGA.
