Etinosa opens up on PCOS struggles, online trolls

    Published on

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has spoken candidly about living with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and being mocked online for symptoms such as body fat and facial hair.
Etinosa, who recently underwent surgery to reduce body fat, shared her experience on Instagram, saying she discovered her health condition after being trolled.

“A lady came to troll me talking about visceral fat. I didn’t get angry — I googled it and found it’s linked to PCOS. I discussed with my gynaecologist on how to manage it because PCOS has no cure; you can only manage its symptoms,” she wrote.

She encouraged women battling the same condition not to lose confidence or hope. “Even if it’s your husband or strangers mocking you, you’ll overcome. I carried my baby and you will carry yours. That facial hair or stubborn fat doesn’t make you less beautiful — you are enough,” she wrote.
