Vee Iye, has opened up about her struggles in the world of dating. She confessed that finding genuine love has been far from easy. In a video posted on her social media page, the singer and media personality claimed that while dating in general is hard, dating in Lagos comes with its own unique obstacles.

According to her, she is determined not to end up in situationships or with a partner who could derail her future. The reality star explained that her biggest fear is falling for the wrong man who could get her pregnant and leave her with regrets.

She stated: “It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant. It is not that I’m better than anyone in such a situation, but I am passionate about not being in that space. Maybe that’s why I find it difficult to find an apologetic love.”

She added that while no one can predict a man’s behaviour 100%, women can still read the signs early on. The 27-year-old entertainer also dismissed the popular saying that “experience is the best teacher,” insisting that it does not apply to her when it comes to matters of the heart. She added: “When it comes to choosing a life partner, I try my best to get it right. People say experience is the best teacher, but not in my world. I don’t need heartbreak or drama to know what’s wrong for me.”
