Naira Marley warns fans on gambling addiction

    Published on

Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has sparked conversations online after cautioning youths against excessive sports betting. In a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday night, September 14, the artist wrote: “Football bet no be work bro. Please stop before they finish you.”

Sports betting has become a booming industry in Nigeria, with young people often seeing it as a quick way to make money in the face of unemployment and economic hardship. However, stories of addiction, financial ruin, and broken relationships continue to rise.
