A Nigerian automobile giant, Coscharis Motors Plc, has declared a reduction in the prices of some Renault models in Nigeria.

The organisation said this is a plan to ease the burden of purchasing brand new vehicles on Nigerians, as the economy gets tighter amid prevalent high import costs.

Renault Coscharis Motors Plc, Brand Manager, Mathias Archibong, in a statement, said the price cuts apply to three Renault models including the Koleos, Oroch, and Taliant, with buyers expected to save up to ₦5 million on the Koleos and Oroch, and ₦7 million on the Taliant.

According to Archibong, the offer is open to both intending, first-time buyers as well as existing customers who are interested in making additional purchases.

The General Manager Renault Sales at Coscharis Motors Plc, Helen Osandu, explained that the idea is to make the brand more accessible to customers.

Osandu added that, in addition to the reduced prices, each Renault model comes with a three-year warranty or 100,000km, free services, delivery outside Lagos, as well as finance and operational lease options.

Abiona Babarinde, General Manager, Marketing & Corporate Communications, Coscharis Group said the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to offering customers greater value.

Babarinde explained that the price cuts are part of efforts to provide more affordable and reliable ownership options through the Renault brand.
