Bashir Ahmad tackles Peter Obi’s supporter over filthy water in Kebbi

    Published on

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has confronted Peter Obi’s ardent supporter, Mallam Jabeer, over a post highlighting the poor quality of water being supplied to homes in Kebbi State.

Jabeer had taken to social media on the morning of July 26 to share images of buckets filled with murky water, lamenting the state of basic amenities in the area.

In response, Ahmad, a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) questioned what Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, could have done differently to improve the lives of people in such communities.

He further pressed Jabeer on Obi’s performance during his tenure as governor of Anambra State, suggesting that his past record speaks volumes.
