    FHC begins 2025 annual vacation July 28, lists vacation Judges

    The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, has announced the roster of vacation judges as the court prepares to embark on its 2025 annual vacation beginning July 28.

    A statement signed by the Director of Information at the court, Dr. Catherine Oby Christopher, Ph.D., stated that the vacation will run from Monday, July 28 to Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Court sittings are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

    Citing Order 46, Rule 4(d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2019, the statement noted that only the Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt Judicial Divisions will remain operational during this period to attend to urgent matters.

    The vacation judges assigned to each division are as follows: Abuja Division: Justice Emeka Nwite and Justice M.S. Liman; Lagos Division: Justice Deinde I. Dipeolu and Justice Musa Kakaki; Port Harcourt Division: Justice P.M. Ayua and Justice A.T. Mohammed.

    Justice Tsoho wished his fellow judges a restful and pleasant vacation in advance.
