Chippa United coach, Nwabali may sign with another team this summer

Chippa United head coach Thabo September has suggested that goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali may depart the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Nwabali, who joined Chippa United from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in 2022, signed a new three-year deal last summer and was also appointed team captain.

Despite his commitment to the club, the 28-year-old remains on the radar of several international teams.

“We’ll lose a few players, but we’re definitely keeping our core,” September told Far Post. “That’s how football works — to improve your team, sometimes you have to sell top players, bring in young talent, and aim for stability.”
