2026 WCQ: Galatasaray support storm Kigali in support of Osimhen

    Published on

Victor Osimhen has received encouragement from a Galatasaray supporter who has come all the way from Turkey to Kigali.

Osimhen is anticipated to spearhead the Super Eagles’ offensive effort against the Rwandan Amavubi on Friday (today) in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

For the three-time African winners in the qualifiers, the 26-year-old has not yet scored a goal.

Osimhen has spearheaded Galatasaray’s pursuit of a third straight Turkish Super Lig championship after Mauro Icardi’s injury.

In 30 games in all competitions, the strong striker has scored 26 goals and provided five assists for the Yellow and Reds.

The game between Rwanda and Nigeria will begin at 5:00 PM (Nigeria time).
