    Governor Uba Sani Hands Over Certificate of Occupancy for Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia

    In a landmark event aimed at furthering educational development in the region, His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, accompanied by Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, today handed over the Certificate of Occupancy (CoO) for the land designated for the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia. The official ceremony took place at the Ministry of Education’s conference room in Abuja, where the Certificate was formally presented to the Federal Government.

    The Certificate was handed over to the Honourable Minister of Education, Hon. Murufu Tunji Alausa, who accepted the document on behalf of the Federal Government. As the custodian of the Certificate, the Minister expressed his gratitude and commitment to ensuring the swift progression of the university project.

    The event was attended by several prominent figures in the education sector, including the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahamed; the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Nazir Gwarzo; the Director of Universities at the Federal Ministry of Education; and other distinguished directors within the ministry.

    Governor Uba Sani’s efforts were widely acknowledged by attendees, with Senator Katung praising the Governor’s leadership in championing educational advancements in the state. Senator Katung expressed his gratitude to Governor Sani for his unwavering support in the creation and smooth progression of the university, noting that this initiative is a significant step in driving development for the people of Kaduna State.

    “Together, we are making significant progress and driving development for our people,” Senator Katung said in his remarks.

    The establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia is poised to have a transformative impact on education in the region, providing greater access to quality education and contributing to the economic development of Kaduna State.

    As the ceremony concluded, both local and federal officials reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the university project reaches its full potential, with the hopes of contributing positively to the educational landscape of Nigeria.
