Governor Siminalayi Fubara has been given a 48-hour deadline by the Rivers State House of Assembly to present the 2025 budget.
During the plenary session on Monday, the MPs made the demand.
As the House of Assembly held its meeting, security was increased at the Rivers House of Assembly Quarters.
The notification for the session was made public early Monday morning by Speaker of the House Martin Amaewhule.
