Presidency– Nigerians will elect Tinubu to second term as president in 2027

    Published on

Rumors that President Bola Tinubu might seek reelection in 2027 have been dispelled by the administration.

Daniel Bwala, Tinubu’s Special Adviser for Public Communication and Media, told reporters at the All Progressives Congress (APC) headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday that the president “will run his course as provided by the constitution” in response to the rumors.

Bwala asserts that President Tinubu will not only run for office in 2027 but also emerge victorious.

He emphasized that Tinubu “is more than eminently qualified constitutionally to contest for a second term in office” and asserted that his performance would “naturally endear Nigerians to vote him for the second term.”

However, he stated that President Tinubu is now concentrating on “issues that border on the Nigerian people, to ensure that people are able to deal with their everyday problems, to ensure that agriculture brings about the expected revolution, and to ensure that people are able to come out of hunger.”

Therefore, the moment for politics has not yet arrived, and we will be prepared for everyone when it does.

“And we sincerely hope that Mr. President will fulfill his constitutionally mandated term if God grants him life and good health.”
