In preparation for their 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Ghana, the home-based Super Eagles have started camping.

On Wednesday, the players trained for the first time at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch in Abuja.

As they prepared for the pivotal clash, they participated in tactical exercises and mild physical training.

For the qualifier, head coach Augustine Eguavoen called in 35 players to camp last week.

Between December 20 and 22, 2024, Ghana will host Nigeria for the first leg, with the second match taking place in Nigeria a week later.

A spot in the CHAN 2025, which Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host, will be awarded to the victor of the two legs.

The CHAN is reserved for football players that compete in the domestic league of their nation.
