President Bola Tinubu and prominent businessman Aliko Dangote will be among the distinguished attendees of the 2024 Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, as announced by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, during a press conference in Abuja. The event is scheduled for November 5-7, 2024, in the Federal Capital Territory and is expected to draw over 2,000 participants both in-person and virtually.

President Tinubu will serve as the special guest of honor, reinforcing the importance of diaspora investments in his administration’s agenda. Aliko Dangote, one of Africa’s most successful entrepreneurs, will be the keynote speaker on the summit’s opening day, offering insights from his extensive experience in business.

Dabiri-Erewa highlighted that the summit would focus on vital sectors including finance, ICT, fintech, creative industries, sports, agribusiness, healthcare, education, real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, and mining. She promised participants an event filled with impactful discussions, networking opportunities, and strategies to leverage the potential of the Nigerian diaspora.

Previous editions of the summit have attracted substantial investments, and Dabiri-Erewa expressed optimism for even greater outcomes this year.
