    Lagos Govt Extends Work-From-Home Policy for State Workers

    The Lagos State Government has extended its work-from-home policy for state employees by an additional three months. This extension, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was announced in a circular signed by the state’s Head of Service, Bode Agoro, on Wednesday.

    The policy, which was first implemented on February 28, was introduced to help mitigate the impact of the fuel subsidy removal on state workers. Under the policy, employees on grade levels 01 to 14 are allowed to work from home two days a week, while those on grade levels 15 to 17 can work remotely one day a week.

    Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted the positive impact of the policy on workers’ productivity across various ministries, departments, and agencies in the state. The extension of the work-from-home arrangement officially took effect on September 4.
