    Edo Kicks Off Reaccreditation Exercise For Vigilante Personnel

    The Edo State Government has commenced the reaccreditation of over 6500 personnel of the State’s Security Vigilante Network (ESSVN).

    In a statement, the Coordinator of ESSVN, Col. Kole Omomia said the profiling and training will be held between Friday, February 2 and Sunday, February 4, 2034.

    According to him, the reaccreditation exercise is only for trained vigilante operatives in the State.

    He said , “Following Governor Godwin Obaseki’s directive, the Edo State Security Vigilante Network (ESVN) has started the reaccreditation and training of 6,500 ESVN operatives in the State.

    “The profiling which commenced yesterday, Friday, February 2, 2024, will hold between 8-11am; 12-2pm, and 3-5pm.”

    According to him, the reaccreditation will end on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
