Comrade Sunday Asefon, the immediate past President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving buses to be provided to all universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country. This move aims to ease the impact of subsidy removal on students and alleviate the burden of daily commuting costs on parents and guardians. Asefon also commended the President for eliminating all conditions on the recently approved Students Loan Scheme. The student community expressed satisfaction and gratitude for President Tinubu’s support and consideration for their welfare in the post-subsidy era.
