The three tiers of Government in Nigeria have been charged to make the welfare of the people their cardinal focus by assiduously working to reduce the hardship the people are passing through.

The Acting Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Most Senior Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, who gave the charge at a Press Conference to herald this year’s ascension of Mount Horeb held at the Church’s World Headquarters, Galilee land, Orile-Igbon, Oyo state,
also urged an improvement in electricity supply to the citizenry, “as it is the springboard for development”.

To tackle incessant power supply across the county and boost the economy, the Spiritual Father advised State Governments to initiate Independent Power Plants.

“Another key issue is the security, without adequate security, there cannot be development. Government should address the security challenges confronting the Nation head on.

“Also, Government should not relent in reviving all refineries across the country as this is the panacea to stable, regular and cheaper products,” he said.

While urging Nigerians to play their parts in the development and progress of the country, Prophet Alogbo stressed the need for Nigerians to also individually and collectively pray for the leaders and the Nation.

He said: “As a people, this is the period for us to have strong faith as God is on the throne and will soon turn around the situation for the good of all. Be strong, steadfast and unmovable and keep praying to the most High God who is able to do all things as the days of old.

“In the meantime, I advise all Nigerians to work hard to earn more income to keep them and their families afloat, pray more for yourselves, families, the Church and the Nation till things get better.”

Speaking on the theme of the 2024 Horeb which will hold from the 28th of April to the 5th of May, 2024, the Spiritual Father disclosed that it is themed, “Good tidings” while the anchor scripture is Luke 2:10.

Some of the highlights of this year’s Horeb which is expected to be attended by over 10,000 members across the World, are the ordination and installation of the 6th Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide on Wednesday 1st of May 2024.

He added that the Conference Supervising Prophet, Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Joel Adeniran will be ordained on Friday 3rd of May 2024, including 1,500 Prophets and Prophetesses that will also be ordained.

On the essence of the ascension of the annual Mount Horeb, the Spiritual Father said it is to seek the face of God for members, the Nation and the World at large, stressing that the Church strongly believes in the efficacy of prayers.

“God has been faithful to us and have never for once forsaken us.
With the help of God Almighty and the support of members, structures are springing up daily which will turn Galilee to a mega city as envisioned by my predecessor. On my part, I promised that I will not derail from the original plan to achieve the much desire of moving down to Galilee,” he added.
