    Published on

Dauda Lawal, the governor of Zamfara State, has denied rumors that he intends to switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor reiterated his dedication to the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, in a post uploaded on his verified Facebook and X pages. He described himself as a legitimate member of the party.

As an official member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), my name is Dauda Lawal. Ignore the false information spread by critics who want to divert our attention from the RESCUE MISSION we have started,” he stated.

He emphasized that he is still focused on carrying out the mandate that the people of Zamfara State have given him, not on political diversions.

The answer follows a lot of rumors that the governor was thinking about joining the APC.

According to sources, Zamfara is situated in Nigeria’s northwest.
