Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has issued a stern warning against those who insult President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing his stance during an appearance on White Pearl Studios TV.

Edochie’s statement comes in the wake of a recent incident where the actor criticized Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni for his conduct towards guests supporting the Tinubu administration. The clash occurred during an interview with Jesutega Onokpasa, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), regarding the fuel subsidy removal and the economic situation in Nigeria.

Yul Edochie made his position clear, stating, “Only two people must not be dragged in my presence: my father and President Bola Tinubu.” The actor’s remarks underline his refusal to tolerate insults directed at the President and reflect his protective stance on certain individuals, including political figures like Tinubu.

It remains to be seen how Edochie’s warning will impact the discourse around political figures and their supporters in the public sphere
