Victor Boniface has expressed his eagerness to replicate his outstanding club performance with the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.

Boniface earned his spot on the Super Eagles roster following his impressive performances for Union St Gilloise and Bayer Leverkusen. The 22-year-old striker stood out as one of the joint top scorers in the UEFA Europa League during the previous season.

Having made a summer transfer to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface has continued to shine on the field, recording four goals and one assist in just four appearances under the management of Xabi Alonso.

“It’s a great feeling to be a part of the national team, and I’ve enjoyed my time with my fellow teammates,” Boniface shared with the media in Uyo. “I aspire to continue scoring consistently for the Super Eagles, just as I have been doing for my club.”

Boniface is poised to make his debut appearance for the Super Eagles in their upcoming match against Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday.
