    Victim of police killing not our student: KWASU management

    The Management of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete has debunked the claim in the media that the victim of the police killing in Tanke area, Ilorin, was a student of the institution.

    A statement by Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, Ag. Director, University Relations, said: “Records in the University show that Aiyeyemi Sulaimon Olayinka had voluntarily withdrawn from the Department of Statistics of the institution since 2018/2019 session when he was in 200 level.

    “The Management of Kwara State University strongly sympathises with the family of the deceased and prays that God gives the family the fortitude to bear the loss
