    Vice Chancellor Authorizes NELFUND Disbursement to NOUN Students’ E-Wallets

    Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, has approved the disbursement of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to the e-wallets of ninety (90) students of the university who applied for the loan.

    A total sum of Thirteen Million, Seven Hundred and Eighty Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Naira only (N13,780,250.00) will be disbursed to the affected students, accordingly.

    The University announced this on its official website.

    Prof. Uduma gave the approval on a memo dated February 27, 2026 and signed by the Registrar of the university, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi, which quoted the readiness of the fund for disbursement to 90 NOUN students.

    The memo reads in part: “In view of the foregoing, the Vice-Chancellor is respectfully requested to grant approval and direct the Bursar to disburse the stated amount to the respective e-wallets of the attached list of 90 students who applied for the loan.”

    Consequent upon this, the Vice-Chancellor approved for the disbursement to the students’ e-wallets.
