    Tunji-Ojo Oversees Implementation of E-Gates at Abuja Airport

    Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Honourable Minister of Interior, has conducted an inspection of the ongoing installation of electronic gates (e-Gates) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, nearing 90% completion.

     

    This cutting-edge border management system, slated for implementation in other major international airports such as Lagos, Kano, Enugu, and Port Harcourt, underscores our unwavering commitment to providing Nigerians with a seamless travel experience.

     

    Under the leadership of President @officialABAT (GCFR) and his #RenewedHope government, investments in technology for national security enhancement remain a top priority, aligning with global standards and best practices.

     

    Today, I had the privilege of overseeing the progress of the installation of electronic gates (e-Gates) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, which stands at approximately 90% completion.

     

    This state-of-the-art border management initiative, set to be rolled out across other key international airports including Lagos, Kano, Enugu, and Port Harcourt, underscores our administration’s steadfast commitment to ensuring a delightful travel experience for all Nigerians.
