Transcorp Hotels Plc has reported a revenue of N47.57 billion for the half year ended June 30, 2025, representing a 60 per cent increase compared to N29.72 billion recorded in the same period of 2024.
The company also announced a 71 per cent growth in gross profit, rising from N21.19bn in the first half of 2024 to N36.21bn in the first half of 2025. This pushed the gross profit margin to 76 per cent despite inflationary pressures and increased operating costs.
Transcorp Hotels Plc is the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, with investments in Transcorp Hilton Abuja and a digital platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
According to a statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the company said the performance was driven by sustained innovation, operational efficiency, and the launch of the new 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre in Abuja.
As part of its commitment to delivering shareholder value, Transcorp Hotels declared an interim dividend of N1.024bn, translating to 10 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to appropriate withholding tax.
