    Tragedy Strikes Plateau Community as Transformer Explosion Claims Lives

    A devastating incident unfolded in Gada Biu community, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, when an electric transformer exploded around 3 a.m. on Saturday. The explosion resulted in a tragic loss of life, with four individuals confirmed dead due to electrocution, and more feared trapped in the ensuing fire. Several residential buildings and shops were also destroyed in the incident. Residents recounted the horrifying event, expressing grief and concern for those still unaccounted for. The Plateau State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the incident, with officers dispatched to the area.
