Tinubu’s administration worse than Buhari’s, says Waziri

    Published on

Former Minister of Police Affairs, Adamu Maina Waziri, has described President Bola Tinubu’s administration as worse than that of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He took the position in an interview aired on Trust TV.

According to him, if one should rate Buhari’s administration as a failure, then Tinubu’s government should be termed disastrous in its performance.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain claimed that the present administration has failed in the areas of security, economy, and fighting corruption.

Waziri insisted that Tinubu has largely underperformed when compared to Buhari’s government.

Waziri said: “If the Buhari government was a failure, the Tinubu government in the last two years is a disastrous catastrophe. He expressed surprise that some northerners whose communities have been overrun by bandits are busy endorsing President Tinubu for a second term.

“It has failed in all ramifications, and the country has regressed.

“I am surprised that people whose local governments are under the control of bandits can appear on national television to endorse this government.”
