Barrister Daniel Bwala, who previously served as a spokesman for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, has made a bold assertion that President Bola Tinubu will lead Nigeria for the next eight years. Bwala’s statement came following President Tinubu’s recent meeting with former Nigerian leaders and current governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

In a post on his X account, Bwala emphasized that the recent vote of confidence by the Council of State reinforces the likelihood of Tinubu serving two full terms if re-elected in 2027. He underscored that this vote demonstrates a significant shift in the political landscape, asserting that the era of political dominance by a select few is over.

Bwala stated, “The passing of the vote of confidence by the Council of State is a clear indication that our democracy has evolved beyond the stage where only a few can dictate who is in charge.”

He further remarked, “You may not like @officialABAT or his style of governance, but God willing, he will serve out the remaining three years of his current term and, if the Nigerian people elect him, potentially another term. Accept this reality and find peace. We reject any attempts at backdoor regime changes.”
