President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Kaduna State on Thursday, June 19, 2025, for the commissioning of several landmark projects executed by Governor Senator Uba Sani (CON) as part of his administration’s drive for infrastructure and human capital development.
According to a statement from Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, the President will be formally received by Governor Sani and other top government officials and stakeholders during the high-profile visit.
Among the strategic projects slated for commissioning are:
The Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samarun Kataf;
A state-of-the-art 300-bed hospital
The newly completed 24-kilometre Kafanchan Township Road;
The upgraded Tudun Biri Road;
A 22-kilometre inter-local government road linking Kauru and Pambegua LGAs;
The Vocational and Skills Training Center in Tudun Biri;
100 Compressed N atural Gas (CNG) buses as part of Kaduna’s clean energy and public transportation initiative;
The projects are part of what the Kaduna State Government describes as “legacy infrastructure” under the stewardship of Governor Uba Sani, who assumed office with a commitment to deepen rural development, improve healthcare access, and provide modern skills training for Kaduna’s youth.
The visit is expected to draw dignitaries from across the country, as the President affirms his administration’s support for subnational development and public-private collaboration in critical sectors.
Governor Sani’s administration has emphasized job creation, energy transition, and strategic infrastructure as core pillars of its development blueprint — a vision that will be on full display during the President’s tour.
More updates to follow as preparations intensify for the historic visit.
