While TCN recounted milestone achievement in generation capacity, the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) has continued to grapple with persistent breakdown and inefficiencies, characterized by inadequate funding, aging infrastructure, vandalism, and poor attention to critical issues, resulting in power outages and economic losses nation wide.
