Sunday Dare – Tinubu’s Tough Reforms Will Deliver Long-Term Benefits

    Published on

Speaking at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations’ annual conference for the Federal Capital Territory chapter in Abuja, Dare acknowledged the challenges that the people confront but underlined that Tinubu’s administration is dedicated to putting long-term solutions into place.

Dare emphasized Tinubu’s understanding of the people’s problems and his commitment to finding answers by comparing the President’s strategy to “taking one stitch now to avoid nine stitches later.”

“My job, along with the presidential media team’s, is to try to get Nigerians to understand why this is happening,” he stated.

Beyond that, we are currently implementing changes in a number of areas, primarily motivated by President Bola Tinubu’s eight-point plan. As a president, he has taken the less-traveled route.

It is frequently the path with obstacles, one that is really challenging yet unquestionably leads to the intended objective. There are still continuing changes in the manufacturing, power, oil, monetary and fiscal sectors, and nearly ten other areas. The advantages of these reforms are starting to become apparent.

Additionally, our president feels that if we don’t make a change now, we’ll have to make nine changes later. However, I think it’s better to take one stitch now.

Additionally, he is a president who is aware of the challenges facing the populace and is making a concerted effort to find answers.

Dr. Ike Neliaku, president of NIPR, emphasized in his speech the necessity of enhancing Nigeria’s standing internationally in order to draw in foreign investment.

“Reputation is built and promoted through public relations.” And we’re arguing that we need to be serious about our country’s image.

“You can only get investors to invest in the economy if you have a solid reputation.

In his words, “No one will invest in your economy if it lacks respect for how things should be done.”
