    Six feared dead in Kogi Auto crash

    Six persons are feared to have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident involving two commercial vehicles along Lokoja/Kabba road in Kogi state on Wednesday

    The two vehicles heading in opposite directions were said to have collided when one was attempting to overtake a truck but met the other suddenly and collided with the one coming from the opposite direction.

    The number of casualties cannot be immediately ascertained as rescue operation is still ongoing as at the time of filing this report

    The state sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp Samuel Oyedeji who confirmed the incident said rescue operation is still ongoing.

    “I have not been properly briefed and so I cannot give you futher details as to the casualty figure. Rescue operation is still ongoing,I will issue a statement as soon as I get briefed by my men of the scene” he said.
