The Kano State Police Command has detained seven individuals involved in a protest sparked by alleged discrepancies in the Court of Appeal’s ruling on the governorship election. Meanwhile, the Concerned Yoruba Community in Kano is sounding alarms about potential attacks on Yoruba residents in the state, urging Yoruba leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to intervene for a political resolution. The group fears negative perceptions, with concerns that people may believe they were cheated by a Yoruba president.
