Speaking at the 9th National and States Assembly Service Commissions Conference in Abuja, Akpabio emphasized the commitment of the assembly to support the training, retraining, and capacity building of its staff.

Akpabio highlighted the inclusive role of the parliament, not only in making and improving laws but also in empowering and supporting the people. He called for a united effort to provide the best support for legislators and contribute to the positive transformation of the country.

He encouraged individuals, including lawmakers and staff of assemblies, to assume personal responsibility and work towards a collective national goal for a better society.

The conference aimed to strengthen collaboration and enhance the efficiency of the National and State Assembly Service Commissions in their critical roles within the legislative framework of the country.
