    SDP’s Ajaka Vows to Reclaim “Stolen Mandate” in Kogi Governorship Race

    Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in the November 11, 2023, Kogi State governorship election, has vowed to reclaim his “stolen mandate” at the Supreme Court. This statement came shortly after the Court of Appeal in Abuja upheld Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s victory as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State.

    Ajaka, in his Thursday statement, acknowledged the Court of Appeal’s decision but expressed his belief that irregularities and manipulations had influenced the petition’s outcome. He emphasized his commitment to continue fighting for the rights and interests of Kogi State’s people through legal means.
