The media office of his excellency,Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has come across a concocted and boring tirade penned by those who think that issues around the governorship of imo State can be played up into a meal ticket to be feasted upon.The latest of the hatchet job purports that Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha and senator hope Uzodinma struck a deal over the last governorship election in imo State.

To assign a veneer of legitimacy to their fairy tale, they brought the name of senator uche Ekwunife into the mix. Senator Ekwunife has since denied any link with the faceless elements behind the falsehood.

No need to say that those behind the falsehood are idle minds in perpetual search for blackmail and mischief to feed on. That is what joblessness has reduced a good many Nigerians to. We know that their stock in trade is to peddle mischief.

But we are hardly perturbed by the dubious tale.We clearly understand the intentions of those behind the mischievous tale. They are driven into frenzy by the blot on the imo democratic landscape. The state has been wantonly raped power grabbers , leaving bad governance and despondency in their wake . As a civilized people,Imolites have refused to be sucked into the illegitimacy that they foisted on the state. Lovers of democracy and good governance have continued to insist that justice must prevailing imo State. The democratic siege on imo State is about to be smashed.indeed, a Daniel is about to come to judgement. For the people of imo State, rescue is by the corner. We therefore urge one and all to ignore the fabrications and keep their eyes on the patriotic efforts towards rescuing imo from buccaneers
