    President Tinubu Condoles With Iran Over Passing of President Raisi

    President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran following the tragic passing of President Ebrahim Raisi. The Iranian foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other officials also perished in the helicopter crash.

    President Tinubu expressed profound grief over this disturbing tragedy, describing President Raisi as a dedicated leader passionately committed to the development of Iran. In his message, he commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the Iranian nation.

    On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, President Tinubu assured the Islamic Republic of Iran of Nigeria’s support and prayers during this moment of profound grief.
