    EMERGING INSIGHTS

    (a) There is a tie in Kano State between Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar at 29% each. Rabiu Kwankwaso’s traction in Kano is at 24%, while Peter Obi at 18%.

    (b) Bola Ahmed Tinubu is leading in 12 states – Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Kwara, Ogun, Ondo, Lagos, Borno, Kogi, Bauchi, Kaduna and Niger.

    (c) Atiku Abubakar is leading in 8 states – Yobe, Kebbi, Jigawa, Katsina, Gombe, Sokoto, Adamawa and Zamfara.

Analysts attribute the surge to the determination of Nigerian youths to change the trend in Nigerian politics by voting for personalities in 2023 and not political parties especially as the two leading parties the All Progressives Congress ( APC) and the People’s Democratic party (PDP) are regarded by many as same bed fellows
