Pastor Tunde Bakare, who oversees the Citadel Global Community Church, has voiced strong criticism against Bola Tinubu, asserting that the political figure has imposed undue hardship on the Nigerian population.

Bakare expressed his viewpoint that Tinubu has chosen an incorrect path by subjecting Nigerians to adversity. Speaking to his congregation in Abuja, the preacher highlighted that Tinubu should prioritize eradicating corruption rather than burdening the citizens.

Bakare emphasized, “By imposing hardships on Nigeria without pursuing those individuals and corporations that have exploited and looted the nation over the years, the president has misdirected his efforts. Mr. President, if you are genuinely advocating for the welfare of the poor, if you are truly committed to improving the people’s well-being, and if you sincerely desire to alleviate the struggles of the less fortunate as you once expressed, then your focus should be on combating corruption rather than targeting Nigerians.”
