    On YouTube, Nigerian female artist Ayra Starr has most views

    Nigerian musician Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known by her stage name Ayra Starr, is 22 years old and has overtaken fellow singer Yemi Alade as the most-viewed Nigerian female artist on YouTube ever.

    After receiving 811 million views on YouTube, Ayra Starr surpassed Alade, who had 805 million views. Her smash hit song “Rush,” which has received over 395 million views, is her most viewed video on the platform.

    “Rush” achieved widespread international acclaim in 2022 and peaked at number 24 on the charts in a many of nations, including Switzerland, Ireland, and the UK.

    Ayra Starr currently holds the second-highest number of subscribers with 2.26 million, while Yemi Alade continues to lead with 2.41 million.
